The first division of neighbourhoods made in Buenos Aires
were Cathedral to the North and Cathedral to the South. This
last one includes what nowadays are the neighbourhoods of
Montserrat, San Telmo and La Boca.
In
the neighbourhoods of Montserrat are the buildings where national
politics are managed. Like the government house or Casa Rosada.
There are also other important and historical buildings as
the Town Hall or el Cabildo that are fundamental for the story
of our Independency.
The
Plaza de Mayo, in front of this buildings, is the place of
encounter for national prostests and celebrations.
