This museum houses experimental and teaching equipment, instruments and documentation pertaining to the medical sciences in our country. Most of the equipments and instruments were used by Houssay himself whose impeccable career as a scientist earned him the Nobel Prize in the field of Physiology in 1947. The classrooms where Physical Biology was given many years ago have now been turned into exhibition rooms harboring rare instruments used for scientific and teaching purposes dating back to the end of the 19th century and early 20th century.
