Museum of Villa Ángela

Saturdays and Sundays from 6 to 10:30p.m.
This
is a historical museum comprising eight halls. Exhibits include
a phonograph dating from 1903, a gramophone from 1905, the first
engine known as "La Chaqueña" and newspapers from 1918 onwards.
There are also several specimens of the regional fauna such as a
giant armadillo, machine parts and objects used in the tannin factory
that gave rise to this town and the sash and baggy gaucho trousers
worn by Luis Landriscina (a native of Villa Ángela) when he triumphed
in Cosquín (folklore festival held in Cosquín Province of Córdoba)
in 1964.

Villa Ángela is located 290km away from Resistencia. To get there
from Resistencia one must travel down national route No.16 up to
Roque Sáenz Peña and then switch to national route No.95 and travel
south.
