In
the square Julio A. Roca it is a monument of Cristobal Colón
that it was the first one made in SouthAmerica to honor him
in 1893.
Other
historic attractives are: the first house of Gaiman, build
by Mr. David D. Roberts in the year 1874, where the first
white man of Gaiman was born, Mr. Idris Dewi Roberts; the
Chapel Bethel build in 1914; the tunnel of the ex railroad
Patagónico (1914); the library Ricardo J. Berwyn and the Regional
Museum located in the old train station.
Paleontological
Park Bryn Gwyn - Chapel Seión
31 kms. from Trelew to the west you find the Paleontological
Park Bryn Gwyn, in the south part of the lower valley of the
Chubut River.
It
is a place for the exhibition of the Patagonic Nature, representing
40 millons of years.
