From Esquel, after crossing lake Futalaufquen and the Arrayanes river, you reach lake Menéndez to visit this park with its 3.000 years old larch trees, 60 m. tall. Nearby is the winter resort of La Hoya. Trevelin is 24 Kms. from Esquel, surrounded by waterfalls and is a town which still preserves some traditional Welsh customs.
