Located
in the center of the Valley de Punilla, is the head loaclity
of that Valley. The urban structure is extended from north
to South, following the way of the Valley.
Because
of its geographic situation and the high over the sea level,
Cosquín has an exceptional climate.
Besides rivers, baths and services for the turist, Cosquin
is World Wide known for the National Folklore Festival that
its every year since
1961. It is in the last week of January and all the nights
of the week folklore bands play for the public, trying to
impact and become famous.
