Founded
in 1875, the name comes from dean Gregorio Funes, priest and
cordobés writer who integrated the government in 1810.
Is a nice place to visit. You can make some cultural visits
to the museum, the Faders (famous painter) house, the Cerro
Colorado etc.
The
vegetation and the climate are of a semidesertic weather.
