This
museum harbors the collection of a chemist. There are pieces of
furniture, closets, analytical balances, jars and the counter belonging
to the town´s first chemist. Exhibits also include pre and post-Incaic
ceramics, a book of magistral prescriptions dating from 1910 and
an anchor discovered in the Paraná River that belonged to an English
18th century vessel The museum functions in the second oldest building
in Ituzaingó dating from 1874. Its roof and crossbeams are made
of lapacho wood, the tales were brought from France and the walls
are made of adobe. This was the weekend house of the founder of
the town.
