Open Mondays through Fridays from 8 to 12 a.m. and from 2 to 8p.m.
This museum is devoted to natural sciences, archaeology and regional
history. It also houses a library and a historical archive. Amongst
the most noteworthy exhibits on display there is a series of pre-Columbian
earthenware pieces discovered in the surrounding area, utensils
belonging to the Guaycurú Indians, remains of candelabra made by
the Guaraní Indians, a collection of arrowheads, a book from the
cemetery dating from 1870 and bone remains of lestodons and mylodons.
The museum occupies a house dating from 1845 that still preserves
its original floors.

Goya is located on national route No. 12, on the banks of the Paraná
River and 227km away from the city of Corrientes.
