This
museum has only one hall devoted to sacred an and Jesuitical archaeology.
Worthy of mentioning are the utensils made of clay and stone by
the Indian, engraved metal candelabra, imagery made of polychrome
wood dating back to the period comprised between 1700 and 1800,
a piece of furniture carved with a Knife by the Indians in 1730
and vessels made of stone. Its most treasured exhibit is the only
complete sun clock remaning from the Jesuitical reductions located
in the area.
La

La Cruz lies on the banks of the Uruguay River 490km. away from
the city of Corrientes. In order to get there from the provincial
capital, one must travel down national routes No.12, 123 and 14.
