Federación
is located to the west of the Salto Grande dam and is 315km
distant from Paraná and 54km. away from Concordia down national
routes No.18 and 14.
This
city came into being when the old city of Federación was covered
by the waters of the dam which makes it one of the newest
city in the whole country.
Every January it is the "National Party of the Lake".
