This
museum comprises two large hall, one of which is devoted to regional
history while the second is devoted to archaeology. There is an
important numismatic collection on display which traces the development
of coins in our country. Exhibits include items from farm life such
as mortars, riding gear stirrups, mates (gourds) and rastras (fan
coin-studded gaucho belts). The hall on the top floor is devoted
to archaeology and harbors the remains of dinosaurs discovered in
the area as well as stuffed birds, mammals and reptiles.
Rosario

This city is the capital of the department of Rosario del Tala and
is 170km. distant from the city of Paraná down national route No.
12 and provincial route No. 39.
