Its two halls exhibit several archaeological and paleontological pieces. Worthy of mentioning are the remains of a glyptodont discovered in 1996 only 12km away from the town, the jaws of a toxodon dating from the quaternary period, the remains of mastodon molars and fangs, petrified tree trunks, rounded stones belonging to pre-Columbian boleadoras (or 'bolas') with only one groove, and stone arrowheads.
