This
is a private museum comprising two halls displaying objects related
to the everyday life of the local population. Exhibits include small
marble mortars, old-fashioned telephones over 80 years old that
still work, lamps from the old railway station, a crank- operated
sewing machine old-fashioned scales and cash registers and musical
instruments such as accordions and large concertinas. Also on display
is a guitar that belonged to Atahualpa Yupanki which he presented
as a gift while he lived in Rosario del Tala Amongst the museum's
most treasured pieces are three pre-Columbian Peruvian guacos (statuettes).
