include the different materials employed in the manufacture of the
pieces, musical instruments made by the Indians, wickerwork, woodcarvings
and woven murals. The building occupied by this museum is a replica
of the House of Tucumán and, in addition to the exhibits, one can
also observe the Toba Indians themselves working on their handicraft.
There is also a portrait of doña Clorinda Pietranera de Bossi, the
wife of the first concessionaire of these lands, after whom the
city was named.
Clorinda
The frontier town of Clorinda is located on the banks of the Pilcomayo
River only 13km away from its outlet into the Paraguay River. The
Ignacio de Loyola Bridge joins Clorinda with the neighboring country.
It is 118km distant from the city of Formosa down national route
No.11.
