This original museum founded by the Cáceres family exhibits works
made with flower petals and the seeds of different fruits used to
depict different scenes of the via dolorosa and another religious
allegories.
Tilcara
Tilcara is located on national route No. 9,84km. away from San Salvador
de Jujuy and 2,461m above sea level. This town was founded approximately
in the year 1600 and is characteristic of the "Quebrada" with its
"Collas" (Indians from the northwest) and its multicolored mountains.
The erection of its church began in 1797, but was only completed
in 1865. The entire area has a vast archaeological wealth, and its
main site is the "Pucará de Tilcara" (Pucará: fortress).
