This
museum, functions in the house that belonged to the Japanese artist
Takashi Takahashi, one of the creators of the Chucalezna school
for Child Painters. During his lifetime, the artist also carried
out surveys of cave painitings. He devided his house and all his
works in order that a museum was established.

This town is located 120km. away from San Salvador de Jujuy, on
national route No. 9, and lies 2,900m above sea level. Only 9km.
separate it from the town of Humahuaca. There are several archaeological
sites in the surrounding area, the most noteworthy of which is the
