This house belonged to Juan Facundo Quiroga and includes a reception room, a bedroom, a gallery and a stone kitchen with a reed roof. It harbors furniture, some paintings, weapons and documents related to the life of the local "caudillo".

Malanzán
Malanzán is located 185km. away from the city of La Rioja. Upon leaving La Rioja one must take provincial route No. 27 up to El Portezuela where one must make a 12km. detour down a consolidated dirt road. This town lies within the department of Juan Facundo Quiroga and is in an area known as "The route of the 'caudillos'". It is an area planted with fruit and olive trees. Parque Guasamayo is an important attraction with its bizarre rock formations such as "El loro" (the parrot) or "El elefante" (the elephant).
