In the entrance to the museum there are some large carts that were used for transporting people. Inside the museum the objects exhibited describe the life and culture of Aminga. In addition to some pieces of furniture and household implements, there are also some archaeological pieces that were found in the area.

Aminga
This town is the capital of the department of Castro Barros. It is located 73km. away from the city of La Rioja on national route No. 75. It is an area planted with grapevines, walnut trees and quince trees lying at the foot of the Sierra de Velasco. Thirteen kilometers separate it from Anillaco, the home town of former President Carlos Menem.
