Exhibits
include Indian objects and handwork donated by local families.
There is a plough that used to be pulled by oxen, a reclining armchair,
leather trunks, whips used for driving animals, harnesses and lithic
material gathered in the mountain region. There are also shoes for
bulls that were taken on foot up to Chile. Amongst the archaeological
remains, there are ceramics and bone pieces belonging to the Aguada
culture.
Vinchina
Vinchina is located on provincial route No. 26, 335km. away from
the city of La Rioja and 1,400m. above sea level. It lies in the
"Quebrada de La Troya a geological formation with folds of nearly
90°.
