Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary

This chapel endured the earthquake of 1861, the one that shook the town of Caucete in 1977 and the one that affected Mendoza in 1985. General San Martín visited the chapel in 1830. Inside the building there are Indian images from Bolivia and Peru, candelabra, a harmonium, liturgical vestments, a painting from Cuzco of the Sacred Family and an image of Our Lady of the Rosary that is over l50 years old. It also harbors an old wood-carved and are over 60cm. thick. Both its walls and main door are original.
