"Fidel de Lucía" Municipal Museum of Fine Arts

This museum comprises only one large exhibition room in the Cultural Hall of the Center for Retired Police of Mendoza. The collection belongs to the municipality and part of it is exhibited in this hall. It is devoted basically to artists of the province of Mendoza.Worthy of mentioning are works by Antonio Bravo, Fidel de Lucía, Enrique de Larrañaga and Gastón Harry; xylographies by Víctor Delhez and drawings and ink paintings by Sdranko Ducmelic. There is an oil painting of Tomás Godoy Cruz, a representative for the Cuyo region at the Congress of Tucumán in 1816. This museum also organizes temporary exhibitions, courses, debates and lectures.
