This museum is located in the Alto Salvador Chapel (High Savior Chapel) built in the mid-19th century. On the altar there are three clothed images carved in wood with colonial features.
Exhibits include books, furniture and other liturgical and historical objects. This chapel was declared a National Historical Monument.
