Cultural Complex Tel. No. of the Cultural Bureau of San Carlos:

Open Tuesdays through Sundays from 8 to 12a.m. and from 5 to 9p.m.
This
museum has two halls devoted to natural sciences. Exhibits include
a variety, of species of fauna from different parts of the world
that were stuffed by the taxidermist Carlos Berthelemy. There is
a sector dedicated exclusively to the birds and animals of the Cuyo
region. The complex comprises three independent modules or vaults.
One can see how different types of birds, fish, mammals and reptiles
live in their respective habitats. This helps one to understand
how animals with such different characteristics can share the same
living space. The museum organizes guided tours for primary and
secondary schoolchildren. The didactic structure of this museum
is based on the existence of numerous maquettes and charts aimed
at describing the location and characteristics of each species.
