The
Orfila Mill Historical Site and Museum

This
complex comprises a historical house, the chapel of San Cayetano,
a flour mill and a winery. Exhibits include old-fashioned machinery,
presses, bottle fillers and photographs of the Orfila family. The
mill was used to supply bread to the town. The architecture of the
house is typically colonial with roofs made of straw and mud and
supported by leather thongs. The winery was founded by José Orfila
in 1905. The chapel was completed in 1929 and inside it, one can
observe an old image of Christ made by the Indians in colonial times.
San Martín
San Martín is located 45km. away from the city of Mendoza down national
route No.7 (Eastern Access).
