• SKIING IN THE COUNTRY'S SOUTHERN-MOST WINTER SPORTS CENTRES
The winter sports centre of Las Leñas has 40 slopes totalling 65km and 25km for long-distance skiing. The base of the station lies at 2,256m and its maximum height is 3,430m. The ski-lifts are very near the hotels and the snow is of the best quality; powdery, dry and compact.

Other ski paradises are Valles del Plata and Los Penitentes.

• ADVENTURE TOURISM
Hang-gliding in the mountains. Canoeing and windsurfing in the reservoirs and lagoons. Rafting on the Mendoza, the Diamante and the Atuel.

• FISHING
The rivers, streams, reservoirs and lagoons are ideal for fishing, mainly fish of the salmon family and the pejerrey.

• You should visit one of the famous Mendoza wine cellars and the Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia, a fiesta celebrating the grape harvest held at the end of February and the beginning of March.

•Those who like spas can go to Cacheuta and Los Molles. Casinos in Mendoza and in the Valle de Las Leñas.
