Archive and Museum of the Municipality of Oberá

Saturdays and Sundays from 9 to 12 a.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m.

This museum comprises five halls harboring a historical archive and a museum of the different communities. The pieces on exhibition belonged to pioneer families who settled in Oberá. Most of them are household utensils, farm implements, photographs and murals. Worthy of mentioning are some pieces of handicraft produced by the Guaraní Indians and lithic material from the prehistoric period of the province of Misiones.

Oberá
The city of Oberá lies 97 km. away from Posadas. To get there from the provincial capital one must take national route No. 12 up to Santa Ana, then switch to provincial route No. 4 up to its intersection with national route No. 14 where Oberá is located.
