Open Mondays through Sundays from 9 to 12 a.m. and from 2 to 7 p.m.
This museum occupies the refurbished old house that was formerly
inhabited by Mothers Sofronia Ederly and Margarita Fendio. They
named it "Nazareth". The museum comprises two sectors, one of which
describes the history of the Basilian Sisters in Argentina and in
the world, while the other exhibits objects that reflect Ukrainian
art and culture. Amongst the objects on display there are books,
carvings, woven articles, ceramics, musical instruments, typical
costumes, embroidered items, decorated eggs, "pesanke", necklaces,
tapestries and inlaid wooden objects.
Apóstoles
Apóstoles lies 66 km. away from the city of Posadas and can be reached
down national route No. 105. It is known as the "City of Flowers"
and also hosts the Yerba Mate Nalional Festival (Mate is a tealike
South American beverage made from the dried leaves -"yerba" - of
an evergreen tree)
