Among
the places you have to know from this city are: the Cordillera
del Viento, with an outstanding landscape, the Volcno Domuyo,
the Volcano Tromen, the Cajón of Atreuco, Los Bolillos, THe
lakes of Epulauquen, the rivers ríos Neuquén, Nahueve and
Curi Leuvú (with zones for fishing), the Lagoon Tromen, the
Thermal baths of Domuyo, rupestres drawings in Colo Michi
Co, and the breeding ground of Huinganco.
To
those places you can add some regional celebrations as the
"Fiesta del Chivito" (goat), the "Fiesta de la Lana"(wool)
and the "Fiestas de San Sebastián".
In
the northern extreme, the river Río Neuquén, the Lakes Fea,
Negra and Varvarco Campos offers a virgin site for fihing.
