The
fame of this thermal baths is universal and of many years.
It was discovered by the white men because of some comments
that te natives said to the Dr. Ortiz Vélez, who visited the
place more than one century ago.
The
thermal station is it located in a depression of the Copahue
Volcano -in araucano: "sulfur"- made by the action of glaciers.
It
is open from the 1st od December to mid April. There are several
places from where the water comes out as lagoon and vertientes,
but there is also a lagoon in the Volcano.
