The port with a wharf for big ships, is one of the outsatnding in the Delta. The city surprises the turist with a variety of activities.

The historic center shows the past of the city. In 1748 this site was a convent of the Frailes Franciscanos Recoletos that started the population, and in 1888, was es demolished to build Municipal Palace. The old facades, the church Nuestra Señora del Socorro with the particularitity of having in the later part, the Expresionista Art Museum , the Artistic Park El Sueño del Tano, La Calandria (Tea house), and 19 Km. from the city Vuelta de Obligado, historic place, where in the year 1845 was the battle against the English-French soldiers.

The city is surrounded by plantations of citruses, peach trees and breeding grounds of ornamentales plants, in special roses and jazmines. Their fertile earth lavish an important variety of cultures.
Its nights of lights, confectioneries and dance clubs. It also offers to the visitors his famous Majorcan Salad, honeys and fruits of the place, so that you can enjoy it at home.

During the summer festivals of Rock and National Music are made and water sports.
