It
is a city located in the Southeast of Río Negro, over the
Route N°3 and 1270 km. far from Buenos Aires.
Its
origins are of the year 1890 to attend travelers and cattles
productors. But
the growing of Sierra Grande it was because of the iron mine.
Discovered in 1944 and in 1969 it started the production.
The
mine company broke and many workers emigrated. But the mine
is used for tourism.
Know is one of the worthy spots of the province, and you can
explore the mines and the infraestructure od the company.
