Quinquela Martín" Museum and School of Fine Arts

The
school was founded in 1910, but the museum was only established
in 1970. Its creation was made possible thanks to donations made
by local families and to material recovered from the demolition
of old buildings. The aims pursued by the museum are highly didactic.
It harbors works by local and other Argentine artists.
Rosario
de la Frontera
The town of Rosario de la Frontera lies 176km. away from the city
of Salta down national route No. 34. This city is of great economic
importance on account of its agricultural production and touristic
lure because of its proximity to some thermal waters. Only 7km.
away stand the oldest thermal baths in South America established
in 1880.
