Inside the cathedral there are Portraits of the Virgin Mary and other saints painted by Italian and Spanish painters, and by artists from Upper Peru and Salta dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. There are also carved polychrome images, and others modeled on size-coated cloth proceeding from Peru, Upper Peru, the Jesuitical missions and Salta, as well as silverwork destined for religious ceremonies such as chalices, candlesticks, censers and tabernacles made by mestizo artists during the 18th and 19th centuries. There are also pieces of furniture, books and printed matter vestments and ornaments.
