Open Tuesdays through Fridays from 9a.m. to 1p.m. and from 5 to
8p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays from 5 to 8p. m.
This
museum was created in 1996 thanks to the works donated by professor
Amelio Ronco Cerutti, a sculptor who graduated from the National
Academy of Fine Arts. He was the founder of the "Quinquela Martín"
School of Fine Arts of Rosario de la Frontera. The collection that
gave rise to this museum includes original drawings, oil paintings,
etchings, plaster casts and bronzes by Argentine artists.
Metán
The city of Metán is an important farming center located on national
route No. 9, 140km. away from the city of Salta. Fourteen kilometers
away from the city stands the Posta de Yatasto (Yatasto post station),
which has been declared a National Historic Monument.
