This
museum has only one hall devoted to the region's history and also
harbors an important collection of paintings by local artists. Exhibits
include old-fashioned furniture, phonographs, a coffee grinder,
a cannon ball, a stone mortar, wrought iron bed backs, a collection
of old magazines and of the daily La Nación and numerous objects
for everyday use belonging to the town's primitive inhabitants.
It is a private museum that operates in a building that was donated
by the Municipality. The museum was founded by Abenhamar Rodrigo
in 1985.
Santa
Lucía
Santa Lucía lies 3km. away from the city of San Juan. To get there
one must travel straight along Hipólito Yrigoyen Ave. that is the
continuation of national route No. 20.
