Pachamalui Museum

This museum has one large hall devoted to archaeology and regional history. It harbors numerous objects belonging to the region's first Indian settlers. Exhibits include lithic mortars and pestles, arrowheads, woven fabrics from the Incaic period, Indian skulls, ceramic vessels, funerary urns and bone scrapers.

To get to Ischigualasto National Park one must travel another 78km. northwards up route 510. All told, it lies 330km. away from the provincial capital.
