Las Heras no number This museum has two halls devoted to archaeology and the region's history. Exhibits include grinding stones and stone mortars, skulls of Indian mummies belonging to the Angualasto culture; a vessel with handles and Indian drawings belonging to the Incaic period and other vessels with red and black paintings. There is also a mill and a stone pestle for grinding hallucinogens; carved stone idols and, amongst the more recent objects, sewing machines, a large 19th century wooden chest, weapons, Victrolas and garments belonging to the same century.
