It
is next to the Viedma Lake and its reservation. It is a trekking
center known as the national Capital of the Trekking. For
all kind of trekkers.
Here
you can visit glaciers, hidden lakes, farms (estancias), the
Viedma lake, and the unique Fitz Roy.
The
unmistakable silhouette, it is almost always covered by snows
that the tehuelches (natives of the zone) though it was smoke.
That mistake gave name to the Chalten (volcano).
