This
museum forms part of the Municipal Museological Complex. Exhibits
include ceramics and lithic objects pertaining to the Candelaria,
San Francisco and Santa Marķa cultures as well as ethnographic material
from the province of Chaco. Worthy of mentioning is a cloth cap
embroidered with mollusk shells by the Toba Indians and zoomorphic
and anthropomorphic vessels belonging to the Candelaria culture.
Also on exhibition are axeheads and mortars and different pieces
used for religious rites and domestic activities.
Temporary exhibitions are held periodically focusing on the different
tribes that inhabited the territory.
Rafaela
Rafaela is located 98 km away from the city of Santa Rafaela Fe
from which one must travel down national route No.11 and then turn
down provincial route No.70.
