This
museum houses three large halls in which significant material is
exhibited concerning the Swiss and German immigration to Esperanza.
Its most treasured exhibits include a magnificent Gothic pulpit
carved by José Stocker in 1887, religious images and musical instruments
brought from Europe. There are also sewing machines, distaffs and
looms, farm tools and a large collection of photographs serving
as visual records of the changes undergone by the region.
Esperanza
Esperanza was the first agricultural colony in Argentina whose settlers
were mainly of Swiss origin. It lies 37 away from the city of Santa
Fe. In order to get there from this city, one must travel down national
route No.11 up to its intersection with provincial route No.70 where
Esperanza is located.
