This museum comprises a single hall devoted to the Indian communities in the area and to local personalities. The area surrounding Barrancas was inhabited by Chaná Indians and several potsherds and some bones were found on the banks of the Coronda River. Exhibits also include doctuments related to Dr. Esteban Laureano Maradona who was born in Esperanza, but spent his childhood on the outskirts of Barrancas.
