Communal Museum of Alcorta

This museum´s three halls harbor exhibits that preserve the memory of life in the region such as farm implements, furniture, clothing and photographs. There are also many instruments and other items belonging to the first immigrants. Worthy of mentioning are a grape press dating from 1930, the chair that belonged to the first judge of peace datinng from 1812, a cord made of wheat dating from 1912 and a maquette of Alcorta´s Cry (1912).

Alcorta
Alcorta lies 272km. away from the provincial capital. To get there one must take the Santa Fe-Rosario expressway up to San Lorenzo, then travel down route A012 up to provincial route No.18 and continue down this route up to provincial route No.90. One must then cover 2km. down the access road to reach Alcorta.
