Open Mondays from 8 to 12a.m.; Tuesdays through Fridays from 8 to 12a.m. and from 3 to 6:30p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 4:30 to 7:30p.m.

This museum harbors a wealth of local and regional exhibits in addition to archives of documents and photographs, a numismatic collection, a periodicals and newspaper library and a library. It also houses archaeological and paleontological material including lithic material such as boleadoras, conanas (type of mortar), axes and mortars. Other exhibits include an 18th century armchair, a candy shaping machine dating from the end of the 19th century and a camera from 1918.

Casilda
Casilda lies 280km. away from the city of Santa Fe. In order to get there from the provincial capita1 one must take the expressway to Rosario up to the town of San Lorenzo, then switch to national route A012 and, finally turn down national route No.33 and the access road.
