"Eduardo Amancio Barnes" Museum of Sacred Art

This museum comprises a single hall exhibiting sacred art, bas-reliefs, sculptures and paintings. Also on display are many of the original plaster casts used by Barnes for his final bronze or stone sculptures. Worthy of mentioning is a die of "The Adoration" made on a concave surface, an image of St. Francis carved in stone, 14 rectangular reliefs representing the Via Dolorosa and 15 circular reliefs depicting the Mysteries of the Rosary. One can also appreciate the works that were used for the chapel of the Somisa steel factory.

Rosario
Rosario is located on the Paraná River and ranks third amongst Argentina's most important cities. It lies 167km. away from the city of Santa Fe 306km away from the city of Buenos Aires. It is joined to the provincial capital by the Rosario-Santa Fe express way, and to the city of Buenos Aires by route No.9 which is also an express way up to Rosario. A must in the city of Rosario is the Monument to the Flag erected near the slopes bordering the Paraná River at the site where Manuel Belgrano (1770-1820, Argentine general and creator of the National Flag) hoisted the Agentine for the first time in 1812. The tower of this monument rises over 70m. high and one can take an elevator up to the top to enjoy a magnificent view of the city the river. The monument is flanked by the coats of arms of all the provinces by four Incaic suns.
