This
museum is located in the Colony House, a construction built in pure
Swiss colonial style as can be appreciated in its architectural
design, the materials employed and its ornamental details.
One of its halls was named after Héctor Borla, an internationally
acclaimed artist born in Esperanza. Exhibits include paintings,
sculptures and ceramics by local and other Argentine artists.
Esperanza
Esperanza was the first agricultural colony in Argentina whose settlers
were mainly of Swiss origin. It lies 37 away from the city of Santa
Fe. In order to get there from this city, one must travel down national
route No.11 up to its intersection with provincial route No.70 where
Esperanza is located.
