Open Mondays through Fridays from 10 to 12:30 a.m. and from 1:30
to 5 p.m.
This
museum comprises 7 halls devoted to archaeology, the history of
institutional systems, immigration, industry and trade. There are
also areas devoted to history, art and natural sciences (local extinct
species). There are ceramics made by the Indians of the littoral
region, the most outstanding of which is a funerary urn that was
discovered on the banks of the Bragado River. One of its halls is
devoted to Alfonsina Storni. Other items on display include an armchair
dating from 1880 and a wind instrument dating from 1910 that belonged
to the police band.
Coronda
Coronda is located 48km. away from Santa Fe down national route
No.11, and 56km. distant from this city if one takes the express
way to Rosario and the access road.
