Open Mondays from 10 to 12 a.m. and Tuesdays through Fridays from
9 to 11 a.m. and from 3 to 5p.m.
This
museum comprises two halls harboring some animal species such as
birds, mammals and snakes as well as prehistoric bones discovered
in the area. Most of the exhibits are specimens of the local fauna,
but there is also a specimen of an African lioness.
There is also a sector devoted to missionary issues containing a
display of objects brought by the missionaries from different parts
of the world, particularly from Japan, China and the Philippines.
Esperanza
Esperanza was the first agricultural colony in Argentina whose settlers
were mainly of Swiss origin. It lies 37 away from the city of Santa
Fe. In order to get there from this city, one must travel down national
route No.11 up to its intersection with provincial route No.70 where
Esperanza is located.
