"Orlando Ruffinengo" Municipal Museum of Visual Arts

This museum comprises four halls and a gallery in which temporary exhibitions are held. It was founded in 1971 and occupies the top floor of the station, an English-style construction dating from the early 20th century. The artist Orlando Ruffinengo was a native of Gálvez who began to collect drawings, paintings, sculptures and engravings by local and other Argentine artists. The maintenance and upkeep of this institution are in charge of the students of Municipal Lyceum where visual arts and music are taught.
