This
museum comprises only one hall devoted to the history of the region.
Exhibits include archaeological remains of the Mocoví Indians who
inhabited the region such as the handles of large vases and engraved
pottery. There are also farm implements such as plows, manual bale
cutters and hoes, as well as photographs and documents belonging
to the first settlers and receipts issued by the first general store.
Also on exhibition are items related to the railway such as a telegraph
and signaling devices, old-fashioned clothing and the door made
of quebracho wood that belonged to the first police station.
